![]() Simply due to the fact it’s MMO, I spent several years playing it and the amazing people I met there influenced me heavily (Also reason why I ended up here!). While the game itself was never too special, pretty much ”improved” WoW clone with updated graphics and Star Wars theme I have to say it’s the game that changed my life the most. This is the MMO that ended up being something like a sequel to the previous game, but since it’s MMO it’s kind of something else. I completed the games countless times and I can still do it nowdays and still have fun while doing so. Despite the cut content of the games they’re still amazing and have a lovely story. They were one of the first proper RPGs I played, I liked Star Wars movies as a kid but this was my gateway to the expanded universe of the franchise. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I-II What he does: „I help our customers with various possible issues they may encounter while using our site.”ġ. □ Viktor Vereš, Customer Support Service I was so afraid of this game I’ve never finished it. The first strategy game I played about 25 years ago. I have a very nostalgic relationship with this title. ![]() This is the absolute number one for me – it’s no longer a game, it’s a lifestyle. Petra Albrechtová, Online Store Manager CZ/SK But I gotta admit that the fighting was superb as well, with fantastic particle effects and lighting. very much – it is possibly the best horror FPS you can play still. I’m actually one of those guys that liked the horror elements of F.E.A.R. As for WarCraft III – good campaign for all races, interesting skirmish maps, and the best-in-class World Editor (the only one where I actually created a custom race – also, I do think it is better than the StarCraft II’s editor, since this was a good RTS world editor that could do extra stuff very well, while StarCraft’s was made with being universal in mind, and it ended up failing at its most basic role, as an RTS world editor). I know it’s cheating but I had to put in the second WarCraft in here as well, cause it is just a good game still, after all these years. WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne / WarCraft II: Edition The core tactical systems are easy to use and yet offer passbale depth stratrgy-wise.Ĥ. On a final note, easily over 100 different units to choose from.Įasily the best FPS character-depth wise, and prolly the best WWII FPS when it comes to history/plot and historical accuracy (at least in the AAA FPS scene, I’m not counting Post Scriptum or Heroes and Generals here). Aaaaand it also had a somewhat useable editor, but just like with the game, if you do not know what you’re doing you will get lost. ![]() Also, you have to know what you are doing to beat it, it is not an easy game, and it rewards creativity. You would be hard pressed to find a better cover system in any RTS/RTT, and while newer GEM Engine games have better graphics fidelity, this one just had that something that makes it wonderful. Soldiers: Heroes of World War II (aka Outfront) Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Dark CrusadeĪ very good risk-style campaign mode with RPG elements, the first RTS that used the cover system in an almost integrated way (I’m not counting Emperor: Battle for Dune, as there it was extremely basic and situational), It was set in Warhammer 40k, so it gets points just for that, and it had a World Editor that was actually kinda useable all things considredĢ. ![]() What he does: „Anything that is asked of me :P”ġ.
